Il Progetto Reyer sbarca in Europa e diventa Reyer Project Europe. La società orogranata inizia un percorso di espansione in Europa riguardante lo scouting e il settore giovanile

L'Umana Reyer è lieta di comunicare la firma dell'accordo di collaborazione con il Club croato Košarkaški klub "Flumen Sancti Viti" di Rijeka che entra così a far parte del Progetto Reyer. Con 40 società riunite in un unico settore giovanile il Progetto Reyer si espande al di fuori dei confini italiani.

Il Club Flumen Sancti Viti è stato fondato nel 2008 da Siniša Kuharić, grande appassionato di basket che dà da subito un'impronta sociale alla società formando il settore giovanile, un orgoglio per la società, e inserendo programmi educativi e solidali. Lo spirito e la mission del Club sono rimasti tali e la simbiosi di valori con l'Umana Reyer ha reso l'accordo più facile. FSV sta per Flumen Sancti Viti, il primo nome latino della città di Fiume.

Il Club di Rijeka vanta un programma di settore giovanile femminile e maschile che conta oltre 150 atleti. In ogni categoria, maschile e femminile, KK Flumen Sancti Viti è campione regionale e quasi tutte le squadre partecipano anche al campionato nazionale. La scorsa stagione, la squadra femminile under 19 ha ottenuto il più grande successo nella storia del club, ovvero la finale del campionato nazionale mentre l'under 13 ha chiuso al quarto posto nazionale. Nel settore maschile under 19 e under 13 si sono qualificate tra le migliori 16 squadre nazionali.

"All'inizio, la potenziale collaborazione con un Club come l'Umana Reyer ci sembrava irrealistica - spiega il direttore sportivo del KK Rijeka Marin Vičić - Per quanto lo volessimo non pensavamo riuscissimo ad arrivare a tanto. Poi, con l'amicizia che si è instaurata con Mauro Sartori e Francesco Benedetti è nata questa partnership che per noi significa tantissimo, soprattutto per il programma giovanile. Collaborazioni come questa sono molto significative per noi che lavoriamo nel settore sportivo professionistico, sono convinto che lo scambio di conoscenze ed esperienze ci farà fare un salto in avanti. Per quanto riguarda i nostri giovani atleti, le amicizie e le conoscenze che avranno modo di fare incrementeranno l'amore per il gioco e il bagaglio di esperienze. Per noi dunque è una grande responsabilità, ma siamo motivati e convinti che sarà un legame duraturo nel tempo. E' bellissimo percepire come l'Umana Reyer ci consideri alla pari".

Con tutte le società con cui stringeremo collaborazioni per noi sarà un'occasione per un confronto sul modo di lavorare e capire quali sono gli elementi d'interesse delle loro generazioni rispetto alle nostre, ma sarà un'occasione di scambio a 360 gradi. Rijeka, come le altre società con cui firmeremo accordi, rappresenteranno Reyer nella loro area. E' bello percepire grande entusiasmo da parte loro per questo progetto congiunto e siamo certi che questo accordo porterà benefici reciproci".

Umana Reyer is delighted to announce the signing of the collaboration agreement with the Croatian Club Košarkaški klub "Flumen Sancti Viti" of Rijeka which thus becomes part of the Reyer Project. With 40 Clubs united in a single youth sector, the Reyer Project expands beyond the Italian borders.

The Flumen Sancti Viti Club was founded in 2008 by Siniša Kuharić, a great basketball fan who immediately gave a social core to the company by shaping the youth sector, a pride for the company, and by introducing educational and supportive programs. The spirit and mission of the Club remained such and the symbiosis of values ​​with Umana Reyer made the agreement even easier. FSV is the contraction for Flumen Sancti Viti, the first Latin name of the city of Rijeka.

The Rijeka Club boasts a women's and men's youth program which included over 150 athletes. Every category, male and female, of KK Flumen Sancti Viti is regional champion and almost all teams also participate in the national championship. Last season, the under-19 women's team achieved the biggest success in club's history, which is the national championship final while the under-13 team finished fourth in the championship. In the youth male sector under 19 and under 13 they qualified among the best 16 national teams.

Then, with the friendship that has been established with Mauro Sartori and Francesco Benedetti, this partnership was born which means a lot to us, especially for the youth program. Collaborations like this are very significant for us who work in the professional sports, I am sure that exchange of knowledge and experience will take us take a leap forward. Moreover, to our young athletes, the friendships and knowledge they will experience surely will increase their love for the game. For us, therefore, it is a great responsibility, but we are motivated and certain that it will be a lasting bond over time. It is wonderful to perceive how Umana Reyer sees us as equals ".
